As some of you will know, last year we announced that we would bring you a narrative campaign here on the site that would tell the tale of the Adeptus Custodes battling to recover a terrible relic from the forces of the Death Guard. The idea was to play the campaign through at home while gaming clubs and stores were unable to host games, and hopefully tell and interesting story for you all to enjoy.
Unfortunately, life has taken a bit of a turn. With the UK in the middle of its third lockdown thanks to the pandemic, a lot of people are off from work and children are off from school. This is the case for most of my family, and it has meant finding time to set up and play through any games is almost impossible. Currently I am working at my day job (working nights but you get the idea) as a support worker, while spending my days helping my children with their home learning and trying to keep the house in order. This leaves little to no time for writing articles and painting, let alone playing and writing up a full narrative campaign.
As a result, we have decided to postpone this particular project for the time been until such time as we can give it the due time it deserves. We are sorry if you were looking forward to this project. This is upsetting for us, as we were looking forward to bringing you this story. But it’s the right call at the moment, and hopefully we can return to it in the future.
We will still be aiming to bring you as much content as possible for both Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000, and we have some great ideas we have in the works. Remember in the meantime to keep yourselves safe, and we will see you next time.
