It’s time for another episode in our new series here at Master of Magics, Talking with Tengu. The show where we aim to discover more about many of the Magic communities favourite content creators while testing their skills in their favourite formats. Today we continue the series with a guest from the other end of the world, and we will be battling it out in the realm of Brawl. Will I be victorious, or will I be out valued by the one and only Cheshire Plays Games.
A quick word before we get to the matches. You might remember from the article accompanying our first episode, I had some issues with recording and scheduling this series and this one was no exception. The original recording had some major audio problems, however after some reshoots and editing, we were able to get this episode up and running. That also explains why our decks contain cards from the previous Standard season, as these games were recorded before Guild of Ravnica. However, they were a ton of fun and Cheshire Plays was a great sport in helping make this episode a reality.
But who is this mysterious man from the other side of the world? Well for those of you that are not in the know, Cheshire Plays Games is a content creator from Melbourne, Australia. Active on both YouTube and Twitch, he is a man who loves Commander as well as been a positive voice in the community. I had an absolute blast playing with him, and if you haven’t checked out his content I would highly recommend you do. But without further ado, lets get start a Brawl.
