Two weeks ago, we started a new series here at Master of Magics, where we aim to discover more about many of the Magic communities favourite content creators while testing their skills in there favourite format. If you missed out on episode one where I faced off against the one and only Pleasant Kenobi in a game of Legacy, you can find a link to it right here. Today we continue that series with a new guest and a new format. I’ll be heading into the word of 3DH to play the one and only Princess Lily Chan.
For those of you how do not know, 3DH is a Commander variant where the entire deck most cost less than 3 Tix’s (MTGO’s online currency). That basically means that each of our decks will cost $3 or less. Now that might not sound like a lot, but the economics of online Magic and the real world are very different. Some cards that would cost you an arm and a leg to pick up at your local game store might only set you back around a penny online, and vise versa.
Now for those of you who have been following our 1 Tix Commander Series, you will know that I am no stranger to playing Commander on a budget. But even I was little bit nervous about taking on Princess Lily, who in is a self-confessed Commander aficionado and streamer. A fan of all things geeky, when she isn’t streaming Magic she can be found battling it out with Pokémon or even having a stab at written articles. The games we played were super fun. But don’t just take my word for it, check out the video below.

We hope you have enjoyed todays article. Our next guest will be the wonderful Cheshire Plays Games. So, if you don’t want to miss out on that interview or any others that we have coming up, please like and subscribe to our YouTube channel and the website. Once again, a massive thanks to Princess Lily Chan for hanging out and playing some games with me. If you haven’t already, go over to her twitch channel follow her for some great Magic content. She has even hinted she might even be giving Modern a try in the near future, so don’t miss out on that. But until next time everyone remember, Good Luck and Have Fun.
